| This is certainly not your average yard sale. The Third Annual W Hollywood Yard Sale, hosted by W Magazine, brought celebrities together in order to sell items from their personal collections, as well as props and accessories from the various TV and film sets they work on. It is quite simply the ultimate Hollywood yard sale.
Of course, not any yard will do. The event was held at a gorgeous, Los Angeles private residence, where stars such as Nicky Hilton, Amanda Bynes, and Jane Kaczmarek could be seen sauntering through the luxury items, all of which were brought together in order to benefit the charity Clothes Off Our Back. Aside from merchandise sales, money was raised via donations and raffle tickets. Items up for grabs included clothes and accessories from NBC daytime hit shows, Guess? clothing, eyewear from Pierce Brosnan’s collection, and even hip and stylish four-legged fashion from pet-friendly label Fifi & Romeo, Inc.
Unlike many other Hollywood events, the yard sale was open to the public. Attending guests were able to meet participating celebrities and browse through their booths to find one-of-a-kind red carpet clothing, gift bags, jewelry, shoes, and bags. Meanwhile, as parents searched for rare celebrity finds, children enjoyed a family-friendly atmosphere that included balloon artists, magicians, and a chance to decorate their own shirts. Shirts decorated by Malcom in the Middle mom Jane Kaczmarek and West Wing star Bradley Whitford are now up for bids at the Clothes Off Our Back website.
