POWER Magazine is currently looking for junior freelance photographers to help us with red-carpet photography, event coverage, interviews and possible fashion and product spreads. If you are still in school or a recent grad in search of great entertainment photography experience for web and print, this is the perfect position for you! 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Degree or accreditation in photography, or at least 1-2 years photographic
   experience beyond "actor's headshots."
2. Working knowledge of digital cameras such as Nikon D100 with voice recorder.

POWER Magazine is currently looking for a savvy graphic designer or technical assistant intern to help maintain our web presence. If you are still in school, or a recent grad, in search of great web and publishing work experience – this is the perfect position for you. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Graphic Design: Working knowledge of Photoshop and Fireworks. Scanning and Photo retouching. Possible logo/banner design.
2. Web Design: Uploading of photos and content online. Layout / design in Dreamweaver. HTML Coding.
3. Network Administration: Manage Windows network for sharing of files, printers and Internet access. Perform regular backups and restore files as needed. Set up user accounts for e-mail and computer access. General troubleshooting.

Journalism Internship

POWER Magazine is currently looking for interns to craft content for our Fall 2006 publication.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Current student pursuing Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications or Journalism.
2. 1-2 years of print editorial experience.
3. Proofreading/editing experience.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hours:  One to three full days a week (8-24 hrs total)
