MS Dinner of Champions

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society held their 30th Annual Dinner of Champions at the chic Century Plaza Hotel to honor Tom Rothman, chairman of Fox Film Entertainment and present a special award to Oscar®-nominated actress Teri Garr. A host of who's who from different industries showed up in overwhelming support. The room buzzed with excitement when Rick Fox, Keenan Ivory and Shawn Wayans, Ron Livingston, Penny Marshall, David Lander, Henry Winkler, Bill Pullman, and Kevin James came down the red carpet to pose for pictures and talk to reporters about the importance of fighting MS. A celebrity-filled cocktail hour was followed by an elegant dinner, heartfelt speeches, presentation of awards, and a special performance by Grammy and Academy Award-winning recording artist Christopher Cross. Each year, the highly-anticipated fundraising event is held to honor a philanthropist who has made a significant contribution to the fight against multiple sclerosis. This year, the society will invest over US $30 million to support MS research. The night was a glittering success. Everyone had a great time while raising funds for a very important cause.
