L'Orangerie Masquerade Ball

Celebrating the end of LA’s Fashion Week and the beginning of Halloween weekend, LA’s premier French Restaurant, L’Orangerie and Mia Trudeau, threw an exclusive black tie masquerade ball, featuring a decadent four-course meal. The Amuse Bouche included a pumpkin soup soufflé, shellfish “a la Royal,” and marinated scampi. The first course began with Maine lobster and zucchini with masala or fois gras crème brûlée, and green apple mousse. The second course featured green asparagus in orange butter and asparagus ice cream. The main course included delicious cod and shellfish, roasted scallops, walnut and cinnamon crusted squab or lamb shoulder confit. The meal was topped off with champagne and signature French desserts, including Grand Marnier Soufflé, decadent chocolate cake or a brioche lollipop. Fashionable dinner guests, including Bill Maher, Brenda Swanson (Mix Restaurant), and Bilo Zarif, showed up in their finest ball gowns and tuxedos, complete with masquerade masks. In the outside patio, DJ Jean Louis spun spooky tunes while costumed guests danced the night away. What a delicious way to celebrate Fashion Week and kick off the LA’s wildest weekend! Halloween in Los Angeles has always been a sight to behold. This year promised nothing less!
