Lupus L.A., along with LA Confidential and Gotham Magazine, presented their second annual Hollywood Bag Ladies Lupus Luncheon at the stunning Rodeo Room of the Beverly Hills Hotel. The luncheon featured a silent auction of handbags donated from stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Anjelica Huston, Reba McEntire, Scarlett Johansson, and many others.

The silent auction filled up two rooms with stylish women excitedly browsing through tables and tables of luxury bags. Besides celebrity donations, designers such as Bvlgari, Burburry, Carolina Herrera, Fendi, Prada, Gucci and Hermes also gave away bags to support Lupus L.A. Among the guests were Melissa Joan Hart, Danica McKellar (The Wonder Years), Kelly Rutherford, KaDee Strickland, Sally Struthers, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Kathleen Newton.

Following the auction, guests gathered in the Rodeo Room for a classy luncheon while they listened to speakers. Lunch was followed with a fashion show, featuring lingerie from La Perla and jewels from Geary’s of Beverly Hills. For yet another year, Lupus L.A. threw a fabulous fashion event, raising US $120,000 to benefit Lupus research.
