The Greater Los Angeles Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society put the fun in fundraising as it presented the first-ever Celebrity Rock ‘N Bowl event at the hip Lucky Strike Lanes in Hollywood. Amid black lights, bowling balls, and finger foods, celebrities and sports stars teamed up and bowled the night away, raising funds and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, whose mission is to cure those diseases as well as Hodgkin’s disease, myeloma, and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

A-list bowlers included Ben McKenzie (The OC), Dule Hill (West Wing), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Eric Karros (Oakland A’s), Ken O’Brian (New York Jets), 2004 vollyball Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh, actor Ryan O’Neal, actress Amy Yasbeck, Joe McIntyre (New Kids on the Block), Bryan Dattilo and Brody Hutzler (Days of our Lives), Chris Judd, and actor Josh Henderson, among many others.

DJ Ice kept the party going spinning upbeat tunes, and Dishwalla gave a rousing musical performance. Everyone in attendance had a great time bowling, snacking, drinking, and hob-knobbing with Hollywood’s finest. The inaugural night of the Celebrity Rock ‘N Bowl was a stirring success and we will surely be looking forward to the next!
