When POWER A-Listers break their strict Atkins and South Beach dieting habits to dine out, only the best will do! And, who better to cater to the culinary needs of celebrities than celebrities themselves?

It seems the hip, new, MTV-generation has made the transition from sitcom roles and record sales to restaurant deals.

Demi Moore’s hot, young love, Ashton Kutcher, has drawn celebrity crowds to the well-known Dulce, his Italian hot spot located on Melrose in West Hollywood. Designed by the talented Dodd Mitchell and backed by a dozen celebrity investors (including many of Kutcher’s castmates on That ‘70s Show), Dulce’s private dining room promises to be packed with POWER celebs on any given night.

After working up an appetite of people-watching, the menu surely will not disappoint. Boasting Italian peasant cuisine, although not priced for common folk, Dulce’s seafood dishes such as the tuna tartare, grilled cuttlefish and Pacific King salmon are not to be missed. The menu of fresh pastas is also a favorite, and the enoteca menu offers Italian-style tapas. Dulce also serves delicious traditional Italian desserts and flaunts an extensive wine list, which rivals a novella at about 40 pages complete with maps to illustrate each wine’s region of origin.

Pop star Justin Timberlake has also jumped on the restaurateur bandwagon to start the sleek restaurant/bar Chi, located in the Hyatt Hotel on the Sunset Strip. Co-creators Art and Allan Davis already own three other posh LA nightspots, including The Lounge. Dodd Mitchell scores another designer nod for Chi, for which he created a sleek, modern rendition of ‘30s era Shanghai with indoor and outdoor waterfalls and patios.

The menu is filled with delectable Chinese dim sum dishes, including lobster potstickers, edamame dumplings, samosa spring rolls, and dinner items from vegetarian rice to honey lacquered duck breast. The VIP room has been filled with the likes of Hilary Duff and Gwen Stefani. You might even be able to catch Justin himself dining with Cameron Diaz.

Both Justin and Ashton set their sights high. With older women beside them and successful, multi-faceted careers in front of them, these power players have their plates full!
