American Food and Wine Festival

As if Wolfgang Puck himself wasn't enough to satisfy the palates of a star-studded gathering (after all, he personally caters the Academy Awards Governor's Ball), how about adding an additional 55 world-renowned chefs? This was the culinary smorgasbord of the annual American Wine and Food Festival, an event that has been happily feeding Los Angeles' in-the-know coinsurers for 23 years.

Created by Wolfgang Puck and restaurateur and architectural designer, Barbara Lazaroff, the savory line-up of celebrated chefs, wine and spirits purveyors comes together annually to show off their culinary crafts and, in the end, serve up support for charity, Meals on Wheels.

The festival included live bands, both a live and silent auction for fantastic vacations, delicious wine and dining gift certificates. And, of course, what would a food and wine festival be without an epicurean feast? This event served up tray after tray of fantastic tasty indulgences from appetizers to main courses to desserts. Guests were in for a real treat as the talented chefs created entrees that were sure to guarantee more than a satisfying meal. The festival showcased chefs from acclaimed restaurants such as Las Vegas’ Bellagio, The Food Network, Valentino’s, and Frontera Grill.
