2005 Teen Choice Awards

The 2005 Teen Choice Awards welcomed a plethora of hot, young talent in the entertainment industry to Universal City. Actor Rob Schneider and singer/actress Hilary Duff hosted this highly energetic event with endless spectacular performances and awards to the best in movies, music and television from young voters around the globe.

With marvelous performances from Gwen Stefani and the Black Eyed Peas, the awards were sensationally entertaining. Romantic movie, Notebook, starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams, was a runaway winner of the night, nabbing eight awards overall, including best actor and best actress in a drama and best movie chemistry.

Mariah Carey’s new single" We Belong Together" won choice love song while Kelly Clarkson won multiple times with her album and popular single "Since U Been Gone." Eminem also proved to be a fan favorite by nabbing two awards for choice rap artist and track. Heartthrob Ashton Kutcher was also a crowd pleaser, bringing in three surfboard awards total.

Paris Hilton scored the award for Best Scream in her recent horror flick, House of Wax, while funnymen Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler both won surfboards.
